Picking fights, drinking too much, zoning out in front of a tv or computer screen, denying the problem, taking it out on one's spouse, kids, employees, or pets, hoping it will go away by itself, engaging in distracting risk-taking behavior, banging your head against a wall... The list is nearly endless.
