Information: If you're scheduled for a hysteroscopy, a second opinion is not needed unless you have unanswered questions, confusion, or something doesn't make sense to you. Your doc should explain why the scope is needed, alternatives, and risks of not doing it vs operative risks if you proceed. Most docs encourage second opinions if you ask.
