Mutuality: Successful relationships are mutually beneficial and satisfying, and it helps if both sides invest equally in the relationship. But, be cautioned that it does not usually work well for the members of the relationship to keep score and lodge complaints against each other for not contributing a fair share. Relationships flow better with a great deal of generosity and thoughtfulness from both sides.
