Sometimes my skin will be painful to the touch for no apparent reason. usually my arms. no rash, no sunburn. what could this be?

Painful skin: The only condition that i know of the causes painful or senstive skin difusely (all over) is fibromyalgia. While other neurologic conditions could do through injured nerves (eg., like multiple sclerosis, diabetes, etc), these conditions affect a few areas of the body, but not all over.
