A member asked:

I know gestational diabetes can cause hypoglycemia&seizures in baby shortly after birth; is it possible for gest. diabetes to cause in utero seizures?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: The hypoglycemia after birth is secondary to the higher Insulin levels the bay sees in utero. No seizures in utero.
