Dx of PCOS: Diagnosis of pcos nowadays is not tricky. Need 2 of 3 criteria (some groups require 3/3): 1) irregular/skipped periods, 2) polycystic appearance of ovaries on us, 3) serum evidence of elevated androgen (may also allow clinical evidence, such as hirsutism.) almost all experts agree that irregular/missed periods are required for diagnosis, though.
