Metoclopramide: Yes, Metoclopramide (reglan) may be associated with hirsutism, which is defined as increased hair in women in the areas normally occurring in men (e.g. Beard). This may be related to the fact that Metoclopramide blocks the brain chemical, Dopamine which results in increased prolactin, which is a hormone secreted from the pituitary gland. Prolactin does cause hirsutism.
