Media image: Yes it does. Remember most of the media outlets are run by males - they want and fantasize the "perfect women" hence images you see ie in magazines, tv etc.. Are those of their perception of the perfect woman. This ultimately trickles down to the young who try to strive to look like some of those depicted "perfect women" as their idol.
