Systolic =diastolic?: Systolic is when heart squeezes and diastolic is during heart relaxation. Thus they cannot be equal at the same time unless you are dead and they are both zero. When a 24 hr BP is performed it is not unusual for the lowest systolic to be below the highest diastolic at different times of the day. Discuss with your Dr/nurse.
