A member asked:

When must i talk to my child about death of a grandparent?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See above: When ever you want. The discussion will vary depending upon the age of your child. If you know death is coming, i would talk to your child ahead of time. After the death, again depending upon the age, let your child help lead the discussion.
