My grandmother is talking like a child and but knows everything that is going on she but doesn't no she is talking weird she also is very fidgety she has a uti could that cause the symptoms and elderly and if so what should we do?

Possibly: sometimes the elderly can exhibit symptoms of dementia when they have a UTI and when it clears they may not completely recover for some time. She needs to be watched closely till she recovers
