Your hospital stay: if it is a parent who needs to be in the hospital for a "needed stay", then letting the child know close to the planned stay is important. Calm reassurance and the child visiting the hospital before & during your stay is also helpful. For a child who needs to go into the hospital, it is recommended that you talk with your pediatrician/hospital staff to help allay your child's fears through proven methods.
