How can i alleviate a childs pre-surgery fears?

See below: Talk. I would talk with your child about the surgery and why it is needed. If you ave had any surgeries, tell your child about your experience. Have the surgeon or the surgeon's staff talk with the doctor. Reassure your child that you will be there before, during, and after the surgery.
