Here are some ...: Changing suprapubic catheter may cause some discomfort / pain. With understanding and accepting reality, almost all patients tolerates very well. Over time, they incorporate such chores as a part of their life and cope with it well. So, work closely with your doc, it's bearable. But occasionally, few patients tend to form encrustation at the end of catheter leading to more pain at pulling it out.
