Biopsy not show infl: The myofascial tender spots do not show changes in biopsy histology. There are a lot of theories - it appears to be related to muscular pain and may be related to de-conditioning. Other thoughts have been suggested - neuro-electrical impulses, metabolic muscle changes but all is conjecture.
