Quick healing: If you are referring to cosmetic lid surgery or blepharoplasty, healing is very rapid: the skin is very thin and the blood supply is excellent. Many people can return to work the next day, but the vast majority are healed and back to normal by about one week.

Not long: Most people take 5-7 days off work. You feel fine quicker, but your eyes are tired and it may be difficult to read fine print for 5-14 days while the lids are swollen. Sometimes it takes longer if you are elderly or have dry eyes.
