Will nontoxic goiter affect children differently than adults?

Goiters are: Quite noticeable, and cosmetic issues to a point. Very big goiters can compress airways and cause swallowing trouble and may require surgical removal. Usually (and tehy are unusual) they are more noticeable in kids.
