Chemical: During infarction ischemia leads to production of Adenosine which mediated chest pain. The pain fibers are not specific so some people feel in the chest others in the arm or neck.

CP: Myocardial infarction occurs as a result of blockage of arterial blood flow to the heart muscle resulting in the death of the affected area. Heart muscle when it is deprived of oxygen, produces certain merabolites responsible for pain.
