Medical neuropsych: Important to get both competent medical or neurological workup to rule out medical or treatable disease and neuropsychological testing which is often more sensitive to early detenction of cognitive difficulties. Early detection allows for better treatment choices of underlying causes or even in some cases medications to slow down progression. As always good assessment begets good treatment.
