Maybe...: Really depends on the location and the number of white matter lesions. In demyelinating disorders such as multiple sclerosis if having a increase lesion burden, cognitive dysfunction will occur. Otherwise, the number and location is important to determine whether there'll be any memory or cognitive issues.
