Dr. Alvin Lin answered

Sure! Why not?: Total parenteral nutrition (TPN) in & of itself has nothing to do w/your fertility. It's just a means of getting you nutrition. The bigger question is why do you need tpn? Therefore, aside from that issue, if you could be pregnant, then TPN shouldn't make a difference. It's just another means of getting you calories.

Yes: Total Parenteral nutrition can provide enough calories for growth for you and your unborn child. It will also provide all the nutrients to sustain life. Check with your doctor to make sure you both get adequate calories and nutrition.
