Does hospice care offer full-time nursing care?

Only if: The hospice nurse is available for 24/7 on call. If the loved one is actively dying, acute distress or acute illness, the hospice nurse will stay longer.

Hospice: Hospice is an end of life service through medicare or private insurance. It will not pay for 24/7 care unless the person is in the active dying process of the last few days. If you need care in the home you should hire an in home care agency. This is private pay and not covered by medicare. Some long term care insurance may cover it. Check with your agent.

Full time Nursing : This is not a hospice benefit; you can work with a hospice to obtain around the clock care but the burden of the cost for this type of care will be on the patient and or family.
