Aspiration, surgery: I would not recommend the "bible" treatment. Typically, these cysts can be aspirated (drained with a needle) although there is a high recurrence rate. Surgery can offer a more definitive solution. Also, these are not malignant, so if it is not bothering you it can simply be observed or watched over time.

Surgery: Bibles hurt and when treated this ways the cyst can recurr or not respond at all. Surgery to remove/repair cyst is simple, short, and has minimal discomfort post op.
