Infant formulas: It is okay to switch anytime that you have a reason to do so. There are many considerations. I usually give my new parents the educational piece from the american academy of family practice, that covers this and most other questions. I share it with you here- http://familydoctor.Org/familydoctor/en/pregnancy-newborns/caring-for-newborns/breastfeeding-formula/infant-formula.Html.

Depends: Formulas are not interchangeable. They are all required to have a basic set of nutrients, but kids can often have good tolerance to one, and not a similar one by another company. Many switch because a problem comes up.If that is the case please ask your doc for guidance.
