My baby is 2months old,my obgyn advised to start microval two weeks after birth which i did. i then stopped bleeding but seem to have some bleeding after intercourse. is this normal and when do i get my period? im mix feeding but more formula

Irregular period: Irregular periods following birth is very common. It reflects your body's efforts to recalibrate hormones back to normal levels. It can take up to 6 months or more if you are breastfeeding to resume normal cycles. MicroOval contains progestin which may actually cause you to cease having periods while taking it.
