Bump in eye: This sounds like a "stye." usually starts after a cold, where one of the glands on the eyelid gets blocked up and accumulates a small lump of mucousy material behind it. Usual treatment is with warm compresses. The lump can be either on the outside eyelid or inside, along the eyelid margin. If not resolved by 3 months, you need to consult an ophthalmologist for removal.

Lump in lid?: Sounds like a chalazion, a stopped up oil gland. Sometimes medical treatment is capable of fixing this but often minor surgery is required. Have your eyemd check it out!
