The doctor can help: One who has pain in various places in the abdomen, and is "constantly constipated", should work with his primary care doctor to get "unconstipated" and stay "unconstipated". If his symptoms of pain go away, and if the doctor does not suspect a bad disease going on, then the problem probably was constipation. The doctor may also check for gall bladder disease, irritable bowel, pancreatitis, etc...
