Acromegaly : Frontal bossing is an enlargement if the frontal bones, the bones that form the forehead, leading to a prominent or protruding forehead. It can be a sign of acromegaly, growth hormone excess. This is generally caused by a pituitary tumor and can increase the risk of hypertension and hypertensive heart disease as well as certain cancers.
