DEMYELINATION: What you describe is a sequence of new and old lesions consistent with an active disease process. Although a number of disorders could present this way, by and far, the most likely cause is multiple sclerosis. The diagnosis needs confirmation, and treatment should be initiated asap. Do not delay, find a good neurologist (lots of them in boston).
