High heels.: Due to angle and height of the heels, there is added pressure on the forefoot area of the foot and the toes which can result in increased pain and pressure. Your gait (the manner in which you walk) also changes.

It is possible : High heeled shoes put the foot in awkward functioning position. This can put abnormal stress on the foot that can lead to a variety of foot problems. High heels can certainly aggravate foot problems such as: bunions, hammertoes, neuromas and tailor's bunions. Good shoes with good support are best for high stress activities. Dr l.
