A member asked:

What are the symptoms of swimmer's ear and how can i avoid them?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ear pain: Ear pain, pain with pulling on the external ear, swelling of the ear canal, occasional drainage from the ear canal. After swimming, put 5 drops of a solution of half white vinegar and half rubbing alcohol using a medicine dropper into each ear canal. Lay still for 2-3 minutes to allow for absorption and then do the other ear. Don't use this mixture if the ears are already painful.
