Flu-like symptoms: The disease starts with a fever, headache, and other flu-like symptoms. After recovering from those symptoms, you can then go on to develop meningitis, kidney failure, and liver damage with jaundice.

Leptospirosis: Leptospirosis sx's include high fever, nausea, vomiting abdominal pain, diarrhea, jaundice, headache, chills, severe muscle aches, red eyes & rash. Some people go on to have a second phase with possible meningitis, renal or liver failure & even death. It is diagnosed through antibody tests.
