Leptospirosis: Leptospirosis is a disease caused by pathogenic bacteria called leptospires. They are associated with transmission directly or indirectly from animals. Leptospirosis: The bacterium Leptospira interrogan needs high humidity or water & can tolerate lots of heat. It can be killed at temperatures of 50 C or 122 F.
