Depends on type: Tumors in the ileum may cause intestinal obstruction with resultant swelling of the abdomen, vomiting. Pain etc. Many ileal cancers are lymphomas and there may be lymph node enlargement in the abdomen and elsewhere. Some neuroendocrine tumors may produce flushing and related symptoms of carcinoid syndrome.
