Asymptomatic to: Thyroid failure: hashimoto disease is an autoimmune disorder of the thyroid and in its early phases may be asymptotic. It can cause transient symptoms of thyroid hyper-function, e.g., rapid pulse, weight loss, heat intolerance; followed by thyroid deficiency, e.g., cold intolerance, weakness, constipation, coarse skin etc. There may also be a goiter.
