See below: Typically one would see stiffness in certain joints of the foot and possible some pain. It may be harder to walk longer distances on an arthritic foot. There can be swelling or deformity of certain joints in the feet .There are different types of arthritis. Most commonly the joint at the base of the big toe can become arthritic as well as some of the joints of the midfoot.
