Fever,Pain,Diarrhea: A pelvic abscess is a collection of pus that develops after an infection, such as perforated appendicitis, diverticulitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, crohn's disease, etc. Therefore, some of the symptoms may be related to the primary illness. However, common symptoms include fever, diarrhea, and a deep-seated pain in the pelvis. Rx will require antibiotics +/-drainage +/- rx of underlying prob.
