What are the common presenting symptoms of pityriasis rosea?

Rash: Pityriasis rosea presents first as a single large pinkish-red patch. Generally, about 1-2 weeks later, a more diffuse rash develops in a "christmas tree" distribution along the lines of skin tension. Usually, each red patch has a round area of scaliness within the borders of redness. It can occasionally be itchy.

Has anyone ever came across a patient that had Pityriasis rosea but accompanied either by dizziness, balance issues, fatigue or muscle weakness. Can other symptoms like these present during this type of rash?
I was diagnosed with pityriasis at least 15 years ago through a biopsy. How common is it to last that long and could it be something else?
Pityriasis rosea hearald patch is on thigh for 3 and half months-why this long?only 2 other spots are present,they fade and back at other place.
