A member asked:

How can i get my baby to sleep without swaddling him? is it bad to keep swaddling him?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Infant swaddling is a transitional measure that replicates the snug feeling of the womb & calms baby when they can't handle the random movement of arms & legs. That said, they didn't need to breath in the womb and without room for arms & legs to move they don't develop muscle tone.To tight is a problem for both. The goal is to gradually loosen the wrap & have it gone at a month.
