Probably not: It is most important to see a doctor when the rash is near the eye which can lead to permanent eye damage. Typically the anti-viral medications we use to shorten/improve the course of shingles need to be taken early on, but in your case they may not have been needed. The other reason to see a doctor is pain control or if someone in your household has compromised immunity. All seems good:)
