Admit to your wife that you are angry when that may be the case, and then assure her that she is not at fault. Peace and good health. There is constructive anger and distructive anger.

Might be...: Might also be OCPD (Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder). OCD is more specific to order and control of things--routines, rituals, germs, order, etc.) OCPD is the more general term that covers what you are describing. Both are about being in control and both can elicit anger when the attempt to control is thwarted. CBT is most helpful for both but you'll need a skilled therapist...
