My psychology professor says that prozac's really bad for people, but it seems to be the only medication that controls my ocd, is it all that bad?

Licensed for reason: Doctors are licensed to practice medicine for good reasons. If you get medical advice from un-licensed individuals (including professors, lawyers, politicians, etc), there may be good reason why their advice should not carry the same weight as your doctor's advice. In the end, it is your body and your decision, but if you read the history of medicine, you will appreciate licensure.

Depends: Everyone responds to meds differently. Prozac (fluoxetine) is very effective for OCD and so if it's working for you and your under a doctors care I wouldn't think too much about it.
