My 3 year old daughter had the pneumonia vaccine yesterday and there is a lump the size of a golf ball and she says that it hurts and is refusing to walk is that amount of pain normal?

Likely: From the vaccine. This will sometimes occur. There is often a bruise or injury to the fat. Treat her symptomatically with ice and Ibuprofen or Tylenol (acetaminophen). If it persists or looks red or angry, followup with her doctor. All the best.
