A member asked:

Is it possible to be pregnant and have some negitive and slightly postive results when taking a home test ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible: Urine pregnancy tests first turn positive about a week after conception. Depending on the dilution of the urine, a test may come back negative, if the urine is highly diluted, and positive, when the urine is concentrated. A urine sample taken after an extended resting period (6 - 8 hours of sleep, typically in the morning) is the preferred sample to use for the test.
