When would you get a accurate result if your pregnant on a home test. when should you take a test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HPT: The most common problem with home pregnancy test (hpt) kits is a negative result, because the test was performed too soon after the expected onset of menses. Waiting a week or two after a missed period before performing a pregnancy test minimizes false negatives. Some brands of hpt are more sensitive than others. "first response" manual and digital devices are the most sensitive hpts.
