Lose wt & exercise: You may or may not be pre-diabetic depending on the accuracy of the fasting blood sugar. In any case, you can improve your chances of good health by losing 5-10% of weight, if your BMI is above 22 or so. You may need to lose more if you are even slightly overweight. Start exercising at least 150 minutes/week. Gradually increase the intensity of exercise.
