I have athletes foot have been using terbinafine. i think i may have toenail fungus as its tingly around my nails and they're a bit yellow?how to tell

The diagnosis : Really can't be made by "just looking". When nails don't look normal many just assume its fungus. Often times it can be subungual keratinazation or bacterial colonization. The only way to differentiate all these is for a doctor to send a specimen to a pathology lab.
