Probably: Tamiflu (oseltamivir) usually works best if started the first day or 2 of illness, but only helps 70% of those taking it in this way. It soesn't kill the flu germ, but slows its ability to reproduce. You feel better when your body clears the dying germ.The med can also produce its own collection of side effects.
