The doctor can help: One who has pain in various places in the abdomen, and is constipated, should work with her primary care doctor to get thoroughly "unconstipated". If her symptoms go away, and if the doctor does not suspect any bad disease going on, then the problem probably was constipation. The smell of feces in burps can mean that there is poop backed up all the way to the stomach. Doctor can examine again.
