I have a sinus inflammation. is it ok to take zyrtec (cetirizine) if i am breastfeeding? if not, is there anything better i could take?

A few options: The OTC Rhinocort of Nasonex (mometasone) are often a better choice since they never enter your milk and do have an anti-inflammatory effect. Nasal saline washes are also a help. Non-sedating daily antihistamines like loritadine or fexofenadine have larger molecules and do not transfer in significant amounts into your milk.
